How to replace an SSD instrument To replace an SSD instrument, select a drum from the Kit or Cells view that you want to edit. Layer your drum by clicking on the instrument you want to edit from the Kit or Cells view, then drag and drop your new instrument from the Inst page to one of the Layer Boxes. Insert your new instrument by clicking on one of the Layer Boxes, then drag and drop your new instrument from the Inst page to one of the Layer Boxes. The new instruments will appear in the Mixer page and can route from SSD to any DAW aux track (or audio track in some DAWs) for further processing.
